Duct tape purse?

OK Duct Tape is just that. Tape. Heavy-duty silver sticky tape. Now here's where the fun starts. For some reason duct tape has become a cult classic, a pop culture icon of sorts. People have created clothing, shoes, bras, dwellings, outhouses, art costumes, crafts and just about anything else you can think of. Here are some purses I found. This will be my next project!!

Duct tape has also prompted several fads, one of the most well known being duct tape wallets. These wallets offer the durability and trendiness of duct tape and come in the wide variety of colors that the tape is now offered.

2010 prom winners

Duct tape has inspired more than a few fashion trends, some down right ugly. Duck Brand, which is a producer of duck tape, offers a contest called Stuck at Prom which offers a scholarship to the couple who can create the most unique prom attire solely out of duct tape. Pictured are two of the finalists in the competition.

I have learned how to make roses out of duct tape. They turned out so awesome that I am selling duct tape rose pens for $4 each. Sweet!!

Is there anything duct tape can’t do? Duct tape is the rockstar of adhesives!! I found this amusing graph of what duct tape is used for.
